Young swimmers will have a chance to further grow their skills and confidence in the water with the Learn to Swim Summer Intensive Program set to commence at the Corowa Aquatic Centre during January 2025.

Federation Council has announced the launch of its Learn to Swim Summer Intensive Program which will see classes offered across one week, Monday 6 - Friday 10 January, 2025.

Students will participate in daily lessons each day for five days - Monday to Friday.

The program is designed to support young swimmers in the following enrolment categories:

  • Turtle: Our Turtle class is suitable for children 4+ years of age.
  • Silver Perch: Our Silver Perch class is the first level that sees children swim the full length of the pool.

Federation Council’s Coordinator Pool Operations, Jo Laws said, we cannot wait to start the summer intensive program to provide students with the opportunity to further grow their skills and confidence in the water.

“Teaching your child or yourself to swim is one of the most important decisions you will make in life and our Corowa Aquatic Centre team is committed to promoting fun and enjoyment of all things water for swimmers of all abilities. We are really looking forward to hosting the program.”

The program will be $105 for members of the Corowa Aquatic Centre and $125.00 for non-members.
