Swim in the open air

Set in lovely, landscaped grounds, our 50-metre outdoor pool is surrounded by areas of grass and shady trees. It’s the perfect spot to spend long summer days, warming yourself in the sun or reading in the shade, then cooling off in the crystal-clear water.

The pool is 1.2m deep at the shallow end, gradually increasing to 2.0m at the deep end.

Swim laps

With eight lanes, our Olympic-sized pool is tailor made with lap swimmers in mind. All year round the Corowa Aquatic Centre offers ample opportunity for lap swimmers to relax and stay fit, with the 50m pool open in the warmer months, and the indoor heated pool making laps easier to face when things turn colder outside.

With designated fast, medium and slow lanes, even beginners can feel comfortable without holding up the faster and more experienced swimmers.

Due to scheduled activities and bookings from community groups, lap swimming is not always available. Please check before visiting the Centre.

Play in the sun

On warmer days and weekends, we open lanes for aqua play, making it the best and safest place in the region to cool off and have fun under the permanent supervision of trained lifeguards. Come with family and friends and spend a day relaxing poolside and enjoying the fun of a splash in the sun-dappled water.
